The Beach Boys first became famous in the early sixties with their hit “Surfin”. They have had decades of success and popularity since then. With amazing record sales and worldwide popularity, it is no surprise that they received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy at 2001 Grammy Awards. Beach Boys’ musical genre as been characterized as surf rock, psychedelic pop, sunshine pop, etc.

The current members of The Beach Boys are Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Mike Love, and Brian Wilson. Their former members include Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, David Marks, Ricky Fataar, Blondie Chaplin, and Glen Campbell.
